Excellent! Friday night is a great time to visit. Fish is incredible. Make sure you ask to meet Fred. We are visiting from St. Louis, MO and asked the owners of the Boardwalk Inn where to eat - Boy were they right!

Went here tonight after reading reviews about local areas and places that locals go which were really good. We had the white fish dinner which came with a salad a baked potato and had a couple of draft beers which were on special. Prices are real reasonable and the food is fantastic. The owner Fred came to our table and we talked for some time about his entire past and how the restaurant got started. If you are in the area and you don't come here you are missing one of the best places in the u.p. Very seldom do I speak this highly about a place you have my guarantee it is the best restaurant in St Ignace Michigan. Fred will be there when you go and if you aren't satisfied just let him know.

Came here tonight after being at the falls. We were so tired of all the touristy places in Mackinaw City. This was quite the find! The food was great and the service was awesome. On TripAdvisor some say don't let the outside fool you and they would be right. Fred stood and talked to us for quite some time. Wanda was incredibly busy but always had a smile and was customer service driven. I believe the other woman there was Candy and it was her first night on the job but she was great too. We ended up staying for a couple of hours just because we enjoyed talking to Fred and some of the locals. In fact they treated us like they'd known us forever. We'll be back to Mack City at some point and will be back without a doubt :)

Spending a couple weeks traveling around the West Coast of Michigan. Topped off our last night in St Ignace with dinner at Fred's Pub. Excellent food and friendly service by Fred himself!! Would highly recommend

Came here for dinner next to the bowling lanes. Great service wonderful whitefish, I got it broiled. Never had whitefish before, it was great as was the salad potatoes and deep fried mushrooms. Fred is a very nice guy and it seemed the whole town was there that night.
